Publication Ethics

INTRA: Interdisciplinary Research and Analysis Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in all stages of the publication process. The following ethical responsibilities are expected from all parties involved: authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

  1. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original, accurately reflects the research conducted, and appropriately cites all sources. Submissions should not be under consideration elsewhere. Authors must acknowledge any funding or institutional support and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. For studies involving human participants or animals, ethical approval and informed consent must be documented. All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the manuscript and agree to its final version.

  1. Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are tasked with making unbiased publication decisions based on the manuscript’s academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope. They must ensure a fair and transparent peer review process and maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts. Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest and act swiftly in cases of suspected misconduct, including plagiarism or ethical violations.

  1. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of published research. They must evaluate manuscripts objectively, provide constructive feedback, and respect the confidentiality of the review process. Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that may compromise their impartiality and decline to review work where such conflicts exist. Deliberate delays or use of confidential information for personal advantage is unethical and strictly prohibited.

  1. Responsibilities of the Publisher

The publisher of INTRA is committed to supporting editorial independence and maintaining ethical oversight throughout the publication process. The publisher ensures that policies related to peer review, authorship, corrections, and retractions are clearly defined and followed. In cases of proven scientific misconduct or ethical breaches, the publisher will collaborate with editors to issue corrections, retractions, or other appropriate measures in accordance with international best practices.
